Picasso's Duke Malaga is a gorgeous male, as confirmed by the judges! This young herdsire has an amazing show record, with 3 Judge's Choice awards, 14 Championships, and 16 Blue Ribbons! He has it all: stunning phenotype, excellent frame, heavy bone substance, fabulous genetics, and an incredibly deep pedigree - everything you want in a breeding male. Duke has expressive, fine, uniform fleece and is extremely soft to the touch.
Duke is the son of our 9-time champion - Estates Legendary Picasso, a beautiful light fawn male possessing fine, consistent, and dense fleece; sired by our very own Andean's Pegasus of Country Estates. Picasso carries impressive genetics from PPeruvian Caligula, 4Peruvian Andean Gold, Snowmass Andean Bronze, Patagonia's Ernesto, Patagonia's Lennox, Nishio, and Cava Guivir Zorro! His dam, Duchess, comes from outstanding Snowmass and Patagonia lines. Her sire is a 6-time champion, Snowmass Majesty in Moonlight, who has given us multiple champions and blue-ribbon winners. Her paternal grandsire, Snowmass Matrix Majesty, won the Reserve Dark Herdsire of the Year award at the 2011 Futurity as well as the Fawn Championship at the 2010 Futurity. Her maternal grandsire is the legendary Patagonia's Lennox.

He's very correct, but the more exciting thing about him is the quality of fineness and very impressive density, that amount of fiber. This male is packed with it! Well done! Just super fine. He's really, really uniform in micron. He is very fine, very soft. Super organized structure, and he has that very correct type. A very nice conformation kind of style. I really like him! I was so impressed with that uniform micron. I took a second sample, and the belly is practically the same. Nice! That's awesome!" Judge Testa said: "This male really caught my eye when he walked in. I really appreciate the style of his head. He is very true to type. When I look at him conformationally, he checks all the boxes for me. When I look at the balance and proportion, he has good bone structure as well. He has fine fleece, good uniformity in the sample I pulled, as well as to my hand. I appreciate the length of the staple and the fact that he is carrying that length all the way down to his extremities. Such a soft, uniform, fine, dense fleece, and it is really consistent. Just really super impressed with the fineness and uniformity that I'm seeing there."
