The first years were like the beginning of any great adventure – full of challenges and mistakes, but it was these moments that shaped us as breeders. With each passing day, we learned more, gaining invaluable knowledge and experience. Alpacas became our passion, and their presence filled our lives with joy and harmony.
Our journey with alpacas is not just about daily care but also a continuous quest for knowledge. Agata from Alpakarium introduced us to this magical world, and her passion was contagious. Thanks to Joanna Najbar from Conyraya, we understood that breeding is more than just work – it is an art whose secrets must be constantly explored. Training with Arturo Pena from the USA and an extraordinary journey with him to Peru, to Macusani, elevated us to a whole new level. It was there in Peru that we discovered the true model of excellence in alpaca breeding. The courses and training with Madeleine Fortmann and Robin Nasemann were invaluable to us, opening new horizons with their experience and wisdom. We also had the honor of being hosted by the Skinner family, Julie Danna, and David on their charming farm in Idaho, where we gathered many practical insights and confirmed that this is not just a passion but a way of life.
Today, our herd numbers 100 alpacas, each with a unique personality, and every day with them is a new adventure. Alpacas from New Zealand, the USA, and Germany have found their place on earth with us. Rotten Mud – Zgniłe Błoto – may evoke various associations, but for us, it symbolizes the beauty we have discovered in this place.
Our farm is an oasis of peace, where animals can find tranquility and closeness to nature. Here, in Rotten Mud, our alpaca breeding has become the heart of our project, a passion that drives us to act and continually develop. We are proud to share this magic with others and create a place that brings joy.
